Get public IP addresses so you can configure your network to meet your business needs. In most instances, business can set up their network using our standard port forwarding configuration, which does not require public IP addresses. However, if your business needs an IP Address to be used with multiple network configuration options, Cbeyond can get them for you.
If you have email on more than one server, or if you host multiple Web domains on different servers, Cbeyond can provide you public IP addresses for your network. This will direct all of your incoming Internet traffic to the correct servers. Public IP addresses also enable you to access private network devices from public Internet locations, so you can run both private and public subnets.
For those customers that require a multinet configuration, you can submit a request through CbeyondOnline™, our online account management tool, to purchase public IP Addresses. You can also easily access information on your IP addresses and manage your port forwarding configuration, at your convenience, day or night through CbeyondOnline.
Cbeyond offers public IP addresses as part of your fully-loaded BeyondVoice package. You can purchase additional public IP addresses in blocks of 4,8,16,32 or 64. We will consider special requests for additional addresses. However, much like telephone numbers, public IP addresses are a scarce resource that must be carefully managed. Cbeyond will require written justification to reserve public IP addresses for your business.
